Nigel A.L. Brooks is an entrepreneur, executive, and business technology, and management consultant. He as started several businesses, including Javazona Cafes, Inc and TechKnowPartners, LLC. He has served in executive positions at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture, Ltd) and the American Express Company.
Mr. Brooks is a business, technology, and management consultant to entrepreneurs, lifestyle business owners, executives, and managers, and the enterprises they serve. His practice includes business strategy, technology strategy, organizational reviews, and performance assessments across a wide-range of industries in many geographic locations.
Mr. Brooks has experience with single entrepreneurs and business owners to the Fortune 100 in North and Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. He has a successful track record in consulting with clients from vision to value, and in managing projects on schedule and within budget.
Mr. Brooks’ clients have been in the aerospace, agriculture, construction, education, energy, financial services, food services and hospitality, government, manufacturing and distribution, merchandising, professional services, and transportation industries. His clients have included major money center banks, investment banks, manufacturing companies (aerospace, automotive, and construction materials), high-tech (hardware, software, and telecommunications) companies, food services providers, educational institutions, oil and gas companies, and transportation providers.
Mr. Brooks’ representative engagements include developing strategic business plans and raising capital for entrepreneurial enterprises, developing technology strategy, designing and installing analytical and operational systems (including enterprise resource management, supply chain management, and customer relationship management applications), and reengineering business processes.
Mr. Brooks obtained his professional experience as a partner at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture, Ltd.), as a vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc., as a senior vice president at the American Express Company, as president of Javazona Cafes, Inc., and as interim Chief Leaning Officer at E2020, Inc. He has been a contributing editor to the Bank Administration Institute magazine.
Mr. Brooks served on the City of Tempe Transportation Commission. He is a past President of the Rotary Club of Tempe Downtown, and a Paul Harris Fellow. He was a member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Government Relations and Transportation Committee, and was a member of the Business Development Council of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce. He has served on the Boards of the Hampton House (New York), Enterprise Network (Phoenix) and The Indus Entrepreneurs (Arizona), and was Chairman of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce Business Technology Forum.
Mr. Brooks is an author, frequent speaker, and guest lecturer on business, technology, and management issues, especially with global impact. He has written three books and many articles on financial, technology, and managerial issues.
Mr. Brooks is a graduate of the University of Exeter, United Kingdom, and has a Certificate in Global Leadership from Thunderbird - School of Global Management, Glendale, Arizona.
